The Real Reason

Peace Be Upon You...

Recently I've been reading this one good book on Selections From The Fath Al-Bari by Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani (The Mat Paper No.4). Throughout the book, there are lots of wonderful things that I found absolutely lots of new things that I've never had a thorough explanation on. Praise to God who have given me the opportunity to read the book. The book talks about a commentary on Sahih Bukhari and explain further on those things in very detailed manner. The one that attracts my attention the most is in one chapter of the book that it explains one of the verse in the Holy Quran. Here in this opportunity I would to share some of the wonderful reading ...

The life of this world is but games and play [...] enjoyment of delusion. [57:20]
Ibn Attiya said: 'What is meant by the life of this world [al-hayat al-dunya] in this verse relates to conduct this world; the verse does not apply to acts of obedience to Allah or to indispensable means of livelihood. The image invoked by this parable is that of a man, who is born, grows strong, gains money, children, and leadership and then begins to decline as his hair grow grey, and he weakens and become ill, and his health and money fall prey to various forms of affliction, until he dies, so that his body melts away and his property passes to others. Hence he resembles a piece of land on which rainfalls, bringing up splendid and attractive plants, which then fade and dry out and become dust blown about the wind.

This verse really shows that he world is a place that easily wile people from the real reason they are sent to this world. Reading this make realise and renew the real motive or vision I am created. Hopefully I and we all going to stay ahead and do not stray from the straight path that God has given us. InsyaAllah
