A Friend

 Assalamualaikum...

As I mentioned in the previous post, I have an ICT assignment that due on this Friday and Alhamdulillah I have finished it today, two days ahead the due date. Now I'm doing some work on another assignment to be submitted on next Friday, what a Fridays I have. Off that assignment talk, now I feel like I would to take about a friend of mine. A friend that I met long ago and still remain friend until now. Between us there is no similarities that I can say connects us together. Her taste is far more exclusive than I am. All branded stuff u mention, all are in her collection. Compared to me who come from an average family have always just dream about having that kinda thing. She likes living in the city while I'm just a kampung girl. She loves to be in a relationship while I love to be single. She loves living in comfort while enjoy travelling. She loves shopping while I prefer saving. She loves to dream while I believed in reality.I remember the first time we met was when she first came to my school. She moved from Penang to Kelantan because she switched school when  she was in form 1. Such a destiny I guess. I do not know why, I am the first person that went to say hi to her (bcoz actually I don't really had friends for the first 6 months of secondary school) when she first came to our class. Since then, she stick with me until the end of form 5. We are close yet we are so far. I am not a person who tells everything that happened in my life to everybody so does she but still we are close together. Irony. One thing I regret not telling her is my whereabout. After highschool I went through quite  a tough time searching and adjusting to new world without having no one to turn to.    The reason for not telling is bcoz I was ashamed of my terrible experience of maturing. For 4 years I kept a silence between us without her knowing that I have switch to 4 different schools but last year I decided to break the news. I never expected that she would shed tears for me and was very disappointed on my decision for telling her the truth. I understand her feeling of being duped but I just can help it. Sometimes, the closer we been to somebody, the more ashamed we feel about them. I thought that at that moment, she will end our friendship as she never contacted me for almost 2 months. Luckily that's not the end. She just came here to visit me two weeks ago, alone without her boyfriend tagging along. And we spent the days together like we used to when we're in highschool. It just felt fresh as I recalled all the memories back then. The fact that we live in the same country far away from our family connects us together, finally. For 3 days she spent here at my place this was the first time I opened up my stories to her and she as well poured everything that she wasn't able to tell others. I'm just glad that she still regard me as her best friend despite her having abundance of other friends.  And I just realised that we have been friend for 11 years now and I really hope that we would still be friend for another 50 years if God willing.

I hope she won't mine I use her picture hehe...

Ups and Downs

Assalamualaikum...

This 2-3 days I haven't been quite lucky. Quite few numbers of incidence happened where it is the first time for me to experience. Two days ago, my housemate spilled some hot burning oil to my face and it was the worst experience ever for me. I have never experience that and it hurts much coz the oil nearly got into my eyes but luckily it didn't. It just spilled on outside of my left eye and it was the worst part, my eye lid and the it stings overnight. Now the worst part of it is, the wound had turn dark brown and I do look like a thug ready to go rob a house. The dotted spots on my faces are scattered on whole of my face and there are 11 in total. I can say that I am tremendously sad with this incident as I did not do anything as my true intention was to help but I'm the one who got injured. All I can say is this is a test my gratefulness to the creator. I didn't blame my housemate for the accident because it was not directly her fault. And today, another unlucky day for when I went to the supermarket I missed the last bus home. The bus service that I took today ends up early and I didn't realised that earlier. I borrowed my friend's free ticket to ride there but end paying my own on the way back as I rode  a bus from another company. So unlucky me and two days from now I got assignment to be submitted and I haven't finished it yet but 80 of it done already. I wish that tomorrow will be a brighter day for me and I wish I will never forget to be grateful to the Almighty for His Blessing for this life.

The Royal Hype

Assalamualaikum

I already got over the Italy trip and it's time to get moving onto a new phase of life but recently the world got hyped with all the news about the most awaited wedding in century  but thank God it's over now, the Royal Wedding. Seemed like all over the world is rejoicing on the wedding. Well it's a wedding, no matter who's wedding it is it is surely a happy news isn't it? Being in the country which the wedding was hold didn't gave me any special feeling to it even though I also shared my happiness for both The Prince and the newly crowned Princess (I guess so) Originally I planned to be in London to get a sneak peak of the wedding but since a friend of mine came to visit me instead so I spent my 4 days left of Easter break here in Plymouth. Since I couldn't spent more quality time in London for the Royal Wedding, I just stayed here in this small town bringing my friend along with me to see the wonder of a Sea Front town.

People flooded Royal Parade (an empty space in the city centre where most events were held) and they couldn't seem to be happier than this. Every movement that the Prince made brings about joy and loud cheers from the audience. There are also masks of both the Prince and the Princess being sold to the visitors, also loads of souvenirs and goodies related to the wedding. Frankly I haven't any intention to come and watch the wedding here but since I was already in the city after sending my friend at the train station so, I just head off to shop and eventually came across these people here. Anyway it was a joyful event to celebrate though. I couldn't deny the fact that this is such a fairy tale wedding, every girl me included dreamt of having a wedding like this. A prince and a princess. Who wouldn't want to be in their shoe right? The bride and the groom both are pretty and good looking even though the groom seems balding now hehehe.

Spring Holiday: Italy

Assalamualaikum...
This is my first Spring holiday here and it seemed I got a chance to go visit a new country. It's a 9 day backpacking trip to Italy and it was tremendously awesome. Even though the journey was very tiring as we travel non stop for nine continuous days but the experience we got were priceless. I sempat melawat 5 states secara keseluruhan 9 days there; 1st stop was Milan, 2nd Venice, Florence,Pisa and Roma consecutively. Naples was in my travel but unfortunately I didn't manage to get there because the train tickets there was sky rocketed by the time we wanna buy it but definitely I will go there someday. Really wanna visit Mount Vesuvius where it is one of the setting in the short story The Lotus  Eater which I learned in form 4.

It was seriously lots of people at every places that we visited maybe bexause it was Easter break and people flooded to visit various tourists attraction around Italy.

Spring Outing 1

Assalamualaikum...

Since Spring is the season where the sun started shining brightly, so every people seemed to have a good outing outside the house. I on the same track went to an outing around the place where I'm living. I hope to explore every bit of Kampung Plymouth. I always thought that my places has not any wonderful places to visit but to my surprise it has quite a lot to offer you know. Besides from the famous 'The Hoe' which is the miniature like of a lighthouse that I usually went to there are also other places like the one that I will show you in this entry. The place is called Barbican. It is a port city but in a small scale one. Plymouth is actually surrounded by sea and every places you go here you will eventually see sea. This outing is actually a self treat for me as a reward for myself after submitting an assignment the day before. The panorama here is breathtaking and it is worth a visit for those you wanna see life in a peaceful place like this. One thing I would like to mention here is Plymouth is unlike any other city in the UK as it not as busy as London and people live a very peaceful life here as there isn't a rush for catching a tube or whatsoever. What I like about this place is wherever you go there will always be lots of older generation roaming around the places and even when ride a bus, the ratio of old people overcame teenagers. And for your information, my lecturer once said that Devon ( a state which Plymouth's located) is one of the poorest state in England. Eventhough the fact that Devon might be the poorest state in England, it is indeed doesn't seem like it.

Grateful to the Creator

Assalamualaikum...

Most of the time, we as human being always forget to be grateful for our Creator. Don't say it more to anyone else, me myself always forget the necessary thing that is to be grateful to the Almighty. Living live blissfully in our own world makes us forgot to say the word Alhamdulillah in each and every favor of God until something or some meaningful event strike us. I won't take any people example for that because for I myself just been strike by an event that made me realised how bad I am as a little slave of His. Ever since I arrived here, I lived my life in an enjoyable everyday life. Not saying that I did not pray and leave the compulsory duty as Muslim, no I did all that.  But being just an ordinary person who is still shallow in all religious aspect in life, I just live when the moment are. We human never being grateful of what we are being given. All the enjoyment in life are taken for granted. 2 days ago my former roomate and I went out to enjoy the beauty of Spring at the city and happened to stop at a restaurant to fill our growling stomach before we proceed our generous walk around the city's tourist attraction . Such a nice day it was to walk around merrily  seeing blooming flowers and took photos of the breathtaking scenery. I happened to slipped my hand phone somewhere and went home without realising it. When I found out that it was not with me, then I realised that it was long enough that I haven't plead to the Almighty. I realised how bad I am sebagai hambanya. When went back to the restaurant, the friendly workers there remembered me and quickly gave it to me. Actually I myself have no idea where did I slipped the phone. I just went to the restaurant to try my luck selepas memohon kepada Allah untuk dipertemukan barang yang hilang itu. Syukur tidak terhingga saya rasakan kerana kuasa Allah itu maha Besar.
Bila melihat kebasaran Allah ucapkan Subhanallah
