Not a Good Student Actually

Peace Be Upon You....

I only have class for one and a half hour today from 9 to 10.30. Heavenly revealed I only have 2 class this week a total of 4 hours. Most of the days of the weeks will be free days for me to spend on my own. The only bad thing lots of free days brings me is I was too lazy to move out of the house even to the library located 5 minutes walk from the house..i'm so bad that lots of my assignment are being procrastinated and the due date is ticking faster now. Arghhh..mase time suntuk nilah I was in bad mood missing family and soon. Feeling so bad that it feels like x boleh berfikir isi ape nk taip masuk dalam karangan. Tambah2 lg when I couldn't even meet my new born twin nephew back at home who's 46 days old now..wuwuwuwuu. Sebenarnya itu semua alasan nafsu malas godaan syaitan x nak bagi kita jadi mukmin yg berada d jalan yang benar. Hari ni pulak godaan syaitan sekali lagi mengalahkan sy sbbnya I got mad to one of my friend in class. I t suppose to a tutorial session on the assignment due next week and my tutorial fall on the day before the due date and suddenly the friend give me an option to me nanother friend to enter her group bcoz she couldn't find another person to get together with her to meet my lecturer today..that is not an option reallyyy?? And I was like wt* is this girl demanding me sedangkan i'm one of the group leader that suppose to attend at the exact date of tutorial..hmmm i was so mad like biting her nose off ..and behind that i was actually haven't finish the thing that my lecturer asked us to do which is to show him the first page of our assignment when we go meet him..thats the big reason why i got mad at my friend. Bad me..didn't finish work..and today too I didn't go to another tutorial session for another subject assignment. I was like..urrghh didn't think of yet any idea to write about and I actually very bad to escape from him..while he cancelled our class for today and tomorrow to give way for tutorial session..uuu I shouldn't be doing this again next time..must really get rid of this laziness and procrastination away..shuh shuh shuh.. Gonna be a good student next time..T__T

Sunday Afternoon Walk.

Peace Be Upon You...

It's a very shiny day when I woke up today...well not quite early to be frank. The sun shining gloriously through my room's only window at 11 and I couldn't help but to go out and have a walk around my University area. Since Zuhur prayer has come really early nowadays at 12.03 so I finished my bussiness first before heading downstairs to the kitchen to have brunch (since its already afternoon why not have a combine meal of breakfast n lunch all together right?) Nothing fancy., its just leftover iftar menu as I was fasting yesterday and off I go.. I started walking along the Student Accomodation Village where I am residing towards the road near the airport just 10meters away from my place. By the way, my Uni actually doesn't have a proper gate anyway as this is a very small college to begin with.

I started of at the University one and only sign..sighhh..this is the only label our university has.

This is the uni's hall where all locals were allocated. International students were allocated in the village where the environment is much more peace and calm hehe..

This is where I'm heading to..the Hospital located 10 minutes walking distance from my place. This is also the place where I always go to when I'm stressed with the life in the village. Not to meet the doctors but to take fresh air as the hospital has a beautiful surroundings and calm as well. Here at the hospital, there is one Malaysian doctor who have been working here for more than ten years i think and he's the one who always
be here with us when there are events or celebration such as Hari raya and what not.

There is also Medical school located in the same compound as the hospital.. but weird thing is I never seen any students coming or going into the building not only today as it is Sunday but other days too..hmmmm..

One of the hospital building but couldn't spot any sign on the building stating what building it is.

Here is the place where I usually go, in the morning or in the afternoon/evening. This place is actually a small area where the staffs from the hospital sit and have their snacks at. Usually there are few people sitting on the bench there but since today is a non working day, so the area is really quite and a bit lonely.

There is a small pond near the hospitals at the resting area I've told just now. It is just a small pond but the water in the pond is clean and breezy.

Running brooks beside the pond.
The running brooks reminds me of waterfall back in my hometown..its been a while since I last visited any waterfall though..miss the moment really.

Mr squirrel ran away when I went near him

This is my favourite spot where I used to sit everytime I came to this place. It is a place where we can sit under lots of trees and it is actually a bird watch area. Really like this spot bcoz it is facing the hospital building.. Awesome spot to read books as well.

This mr squirrel is really gatal coz at first he ran away from me then he came as near as 1 meter to see what  I'm eating ..hmmm

Even though autumn is already almost at the end, there are flowers who still gloriously blooming like this big bunch of Hydrangea.

The front view of the small pond
Sitting area near the pond
The whole hospital area can be seen from some part.

Another reason why i love to come to this hospital is that it has a park reserve right near the compound. It covers a huge area that I actually got lost when I first time explore the place with my friend last year. It has trails where walkers can follow but some of it seems like new trails and it is somehow confusing. Lots of people come here on weekend to train their dogs and I would avoid that days...

Beautiful yet mysterious trail

This is another place where I went today; Tamar Science park. Tamar is actually a name of company/developer. Lots of building and construction like bridge is named given after this Tamar. This park is really beautiful and caters lots of different building from different field..bussiness, medicals and etc.

There are lots of miniature sized apples grown in the park compound and I managed to pick few of them. Initially I really wanted to try it but got scared if I would actually die of poison apple instead..hahaha

The building is beautifully constructed
I don't know what this is but it looks like raspberry instead
Wild Blackberries ripens in late autumn

This is some of the wonderful things I found along my journey today...eventhough i'm just walking around here but I end up feeling so tired and right after I arrived home I dig in half a tub of ice cream...hahaha

Aidil Adha Without Family: Not That Bad

Peace Be Upon You...

Hope everyone that celebrate AidilAdha no matter where you are have a blessed and blast one. Hari ni saya sambut AidilAdha tahun kedua dengan jayanya bukan bersama keluarga, 11000km away from hometown where I was born..hehhe. Kalu fikir pasal fact kejauhan dgn family tu kadang2 terasa la jugak bibit kesedihan tu tp sebenarnye saya okay sje kat sini. With friends around me utk menceriakan hari saya, tak terasa sunyi ataupon bosan sebenarnye. Masa kawan2 lelaki takbir bersama kawan perempuan takbir tu terasa lah jugak sayunye tp okey lah lg, takdelah sampai menitiskan airmata..hehehe. Saya ni bukan yg jenis lembut hati sebenarnye, jd kalu pasal raya2 ni masih keras tak rase ape-ape. Tengok kawan2 yg berair2 mata tu kesian la plak dekat diorang. After solat, we had a small feast continuation of last night event which was raya celebration campur dgn Diwali sekali. The food that we have of course lah tak semeriah makanan yg we will definitely gobble when back in Malaysia. Apa-pun, we all very grateful sbb boleh bersama kawan2 yg sekapal beraya bersama. Then we had a small photography session sesama sendiri..ada plak yg bajet nk anta ke salam perantauan tahun depan la tu..aishhh. And that was my raya day, after all thing were finish went back to Village and wander around friends' houses pergi beraya la konon. Went back home at 12 noon solat zohor semuanya and tidur, pathetic sungguh. Semalam sebelum tidur sempat lagi call rumah tny pasal sambutan raya diorang and mum said everything was running smoothly as my brother was doing Akikah my little twin nephews. Hmm teringin jgk nk tengok muka budak2 kecik tu. Tengok melalui video call skype langsung tak jelas, kelabu asap aje. But thats okay lah cuz I'm planning of going back home next summer break so it shouldn't be a problem, but I'm gonna miss the time to play with them when they were very small lah...Kalu mcm tu kene ada anak sendirilah ye.hohoho.. Well thats all about my raya haji celebration  here in University College Plymouth Marjon, county of Devon, small but meaningful. And below are bunch of photos during last night and today, and gladly saying that I was lucky enough get a prize during cabutan bertuah event last night, weirdly this is the first time in my life to get a prize in lucky draw..huhuh (*_*)

So glad to receive a prize regardless whats inside the box

AidilAdha Family not Around

Peace Be Upon You...

This will be short writing on my AidilAdha that I will be celebrating tomorrow according to London time. Frankly I'm not that really somber over not to be able to celebrate with family, just a little sad in my heart. Wonder how ma ayah and the rest of the family will be celebrating it. Compare to other states in Malaysia, Kelantan did celebrate AidilAdha more gloriously than Aidilfitri for its event of Qurban where the whole family will gather together to witness the memorable event 'sacrificing'each year. Unfortunately for me, I never actually witness the animal being slaughtered as I was so weak when it comes to blood and everything relating to it. Aishhh. This year it will be another happiness added to my family as my brother just got twin baby boy around 3 weeks ago. Hmm come to think of it I feel a bit lonely here but no sweat as lots of friends will accompany me for the term over and guess what, I'm on the way to AidilAdha + Diwali celebration held in the Village right now. Thats all for now, I'll come back again for the entry of -post- AidilAdha feeling and celebration here in Plymouth and also back at home in Golden Sand. (^_^)

Cornwall: By for Now

Peace Be Upon You

Last Tuesday was the last day for me to attend school for School Experience. We don't necessarily to teach kids but being there as guest to observe how the educator educate and most importantly control and manage the class. Clichedly I can say I gained lots of new insights at the school. Basically the cultural barrier does explains it all but it was such a very cool and awesome experience to have. Being in school majority of not our people is something really awe-inspiring and fantabulous. I and my other 2 friends were surrounded by all British people not Malay are no where to be found there. It is uncanny to this but I felt nothing like a more comfortable place to be than this Richard Lander school. Though the journey there was gruesome and exhaustingly tiring but the experience there was worth the pain. For ur information, I'm residing in Devon and the school is located in Cornwall, a state away from me. Never mention the journey as it is painstakingly not a nice thing to say as I need to get up very early in the morning to start my journey but luckily my university provided a car complete with a cool mister driver. There; not only the view, the meadows, the huge windmill thats awesome but also the friendly and helpful staff. They welcomed us with a very warm welcome I can say. Especially my supervisor at the school, never I met a very energetic and enthusiastic person like Pete, regardless in his class or outside his class. I managed to complete all the task given by the lecturers and luckily there are not mountains of thing to do really..just a small bunch of questions relating to what I've learned in class. Every class I entered has left a special feeling to me, be it a Humanities, Geography, Religious Education, Math nor French, but unfortunately I didn't manage enter any class of my major study..sad a bit but thats ok coz every class kinda cover it all anyway. Well ..not all things are heaven really, there were kids who misbehave in class, so on and so all. I learned a lot from those teachers on how they manged students behaviourism and will try my best to apply in the Malaysian context in the future. One thing that I will never forget was, I managed to hold mini demonstration about Malaysia in lunch hour for two consecutive weeks and it was really awesome thing as lots of kids came gather around us to play congkak and willingly sacrificed their hands to be henna'd by us.. those lovely kids are cool and what a funny thing was that some students were addicted by the congkak game that they asked the tutor not to enter class during assembly as to play it. Nice thing. There is this story of this one boy that came to me suddenly at the end of the session asking about all those things that we were doing. He is quite a chubby kids in year 7 or 8 maybe didn't asked him bout that. He seemed shy and talk softly and kept on asking me on the name of the game and wanted to play it but unfortunately for him, girls conquered the game till the end. i have a quick conversation with him and it was sad for me to hear his wish to come to Asia but his family can't afford to come here. I asked him whats about Asia that makes him wanna go there.."I saw huge toy factories, lots of them in China, so I really wanna go there" Upon hearing this, it feels funny but yeah he's still a kid so nothing wrong with that isn't it? I promised him to bring the game again the next week but still he didn't manage to play it...poor him. He came late to the demonstration on the next week and missed the henna session...at the end of lunch hour when the bell rang he came to me with his mother's signature in his book showing that he was allowed to try the henna...owhhh so cute that little thing really. It was late and nothing that I could do for him especially the henna part coz it took quite a time to do it so I quickly drew a heart with vines on his hand for remembrance. I really wish to see that boy again before I left the school last tuesday but unfortunately I didn't meet him anyway. So sad. And lastly before we depart from the school my supervisor did gave me something that is gonna be a wonderful treasure of mine. Pete gave the three of us a mini Venetian Mask as he visited Venice last week on the term break. And how cool is he to visit Venice every year..lots of money spent there..hohoh..Although I've already have it on my own when I visited Venice earlier this year but as a present that s/one else gave was different. Sad to say that I didn;t wish to go there again for the tiring journey but deep in my heart I've grew fond of the school and the people in there. Well..we'll see what my lecturer will say for the next Spring term..huuuhhh
