The Royal Hype

Assalamualaikum

I already got over the Italy trip and it's time to get moving onto a new phase of life but recently the world got hyped with all the news about the most awaited wedding in century  but thank God it's over now, the Royal Wedding. Seemed like all over the world is rejoicing on the wedding. Well it's a wedding, no matter who's wedding it is it is surely a happy news isn't it? Being in the country which the wedding was hold didn't gave me any special feeling to it even though I also shared my happiness for both The Prince and the newly crowned Princess (I guess so) Originally I planned to be in London to get a sneak peak of the wedding but since a friend of mine came to visit me instead so I spent my 4 days left of Easter break here in Plymouth. Since I couldn't spent more quality time in London for the Royal Wedding, I just stayed here in this small town bringing my friend along with me to see the wonder of a Sea Front town.

People flooded Royal Parade (an empty space in the city centre where most events were held) and they couldn't seem to be happier than this. Every movement that the Prince made brings about joy and loud cheers from the audience. There are also masks of both the Prince and the Princess being sold to the visitors, also loads of souvenirs and goodies related to the wedding. Frankly I haven't any intention to come and watch the wedding here but since I was already in the city after sending my friend at the train station so, I just head off to shop and eventually came across these people here. Anyway it was a joyful event to celebrate though. I couldn't deny the fact that this is such a fairy tale wedding, every girl me included dreamt of having a wedding like this. A prince and a princess. Who wouldn't want to be in their shoe right? The bride and the groom both are pretty and good looking even though the groom seems balding now hehehe.

Spring Holiday: Italy

Assalamualaikum...
This is my first Spring holiday here and it seemed I got a chance to go visit a new country. It's a 9 day backpacking trip to Italy and it was tremendously awesome. Even though the journey was very tiring as we travel non stop for nine continuous days but the experience we got were priceless. I sempat melawat 5 states secara keseluruhan 9 days there; 1st stop was Milan, 2nd Venice, Florence,Pisa and Roma consecutively. Naples was in my travel but unfortunately I didn't manage to get there because the train tickets there was sky rocketed by the time we wanna buy it but definitely I will go there someday. Really wanna visit Mount Vesuvius where it is one of the setting in the short story The Lotus  Eater which I learned in form 4.

It was seriously lots of people at every places that we visited maybe bexause it was Easter break and people flooded to visit various tourists attraction around Italy.

Spring Outing 1

Assalamualaikum...

Since Spring is the season where the sun started shining brightly, so every people seemed to have a good outing outside the house. I on the same track went to an outing around the place where I'm living. I hope to explore every bit of Kampung Plymouth. I always thought that my places has not any wonderful places to visit but to my surprise it has quite a lot to offer you know. Besides from the famous 'The Hoe' which is the miniature like of a lighthouse that I usually went to there are also other places like the one that I will show you in this entry. The place is called Barbican. It is a port city but in a small scale one. Plymouth is actually surrounded by sea and every places you go here you will eventually see sea. This outing is actually a self treat for me as a reward for myself after submitting an assignment the day before. The panorama here is breathtaking and it is worth a visit for those you wanna see life in a peaceful place like this. One thing I would like to mention here is Plymouth is unlike any other city in the UK as it not as busy as London and people live a very peaceful life here as there isn't a rush for catching a tube or whatsoever. What I like about this place is wherever you go there will always be lots of older generation roaming around the places and even when ride a bus, the ratio of old people overcame teenagers. And for your information, my lecturer once said that Devon ( a state which Plymouth's located) is one of the poorest state in England. Eventhough the fact that Devon might be the poorest state in England, it is indeed doesn't seem like it.
